Our client, Pattern Brands, tasked us with reengineering and redesigning one of their well-known brands, GIR.
The goal was to introduce the Essentials line at a more affordable price point compared to their premium line.
Working closely with the merchandise team, we identified a selection of kitchen tools deemed essential.
We focused on maintaining the brand's aesthetics, functionality, and premium quality while working on these tools.
We adjusted thicknesses and redesigned the internal cores (each silicone tool has a Nylon core for rigidity), creating
prototypes and testing them until we achieved the desired results from both an economic and functional standpoint.
